At this time I can no longer offer online tarot
readings, though I will still be doing readings locally. I may return at a later day when there are fewer demands on my time, but at the moment, I feel like this is the right decision for me, and one I feel good about.
On Saturday I participated in the Blogathon, and gave free Tarot
readings to anyone who requested one. One card that showed up frequently that night was the Nine of Wands. It came up so frequently that I began to wonder if there wasn’t some message in it for me. One of the evening’s clients asked me to elaborate on the Nine of Wands, and I thought I’d write here about all the Nines of the Tarot. More
I remember I was once on a road trip with an old boyfriend, a Capricorn named Scott, and his friend Jason, who was a Gemini like me. We stopped to eat in a fast food place, ordered our meals, and sat down. After a while, Jason and I noticed Scott was staring at us.
“Whats wrong?”, Jason asked.
“You both eat the same”, Scott sounded horrified, “You pick at your food and.. and you stare at every bite before you put it in your mouths. Thats just weird! Why do you do that?” More
I ran across this little announcement today in the Poughkeepsie Journal, about a class being taught in the East Fishkill Public Library called, “Brush up on your Tarot

The Chariot
The Chariot is one of the most enigmatic cards in the Tarot
. It seems like every cartomancer has a different interpretation of this card - everything from conquest to journeying. At first glance, the traditional symbolism pictured on the the card has little to do with the Chariot’s astrological attributions. After all, what does the zodiacal sign of Cancer - sign of the home and emotional attachments - have to do with a charioteer pulled by sphinxes? More
Many cartomancers will say that Death is the card most likely to frighten their clients when it turns face up, but I disagree. When Death turns face up on the table, it’s usually accompanied by a clients vaguely uncomfortable disbelief. “Death!” they’ll say, with a bit of nervous laughter, “hehe… I’m not going to die, am I?”
“Eventually”, I’ll say, “but not today.” More
You may have noticed there’s been little activity on Extispex lately. I hope to remedy this and provide more regular posts soon. More
Che asks: I seem to be losing the focus for my primary website, Noumenal Net. I’m not sure what its about anymore. Shattered Prayer has come into its own as a hangout for me and my friends. Extispex has developed a strong focus upon Tarot
readings and Tarot reviews, but I seem to be losing touch with what I want for Noumenal Net? What is Noumenal Net about? What does it want to be?

Mel asks: My sister and I are opening a bookstore. Will it be successful? And will my sister and I be able to remain friends through this - I seem to be doing all the work lately.

I’m a collage artist, and I enjoy collage art and especially collage tarot
decks. Arnell Ando originally created the Transformational Tarot for her own personal use, then later released it as a limited, self-published edition. By popular demand, it returned, this time released in a slick, affordable package by U.S. Games.
